But when I feel like I've made a friend, it's so very worth it, right? Critiques always help, which is why I love my critique group. <br />@Amber---that is so cool that you volunteer on writing sites! That is definitely something that I don't have time for, though--so I'm very impressed.karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11547435287145385214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2771345316485260114.post-10251489473355738482011-06-29T06:44:13.425-07:002011-06-29T06:44:13.425-07:00I volunteer on writing sites to help green authors...I volunteer on writing sites to help green authors hone in on thier voice and what works best for them. On my blog, I interview both authors and writers who are "not yet published". It's fun to get to know both. Twitter doesn't take much time and gets me connected with other writers. Goodreads and Verla Kay's Blueboards are also wonderful places.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00769602845843608247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2771345316485260114.post-86722878512255112342011-06-27T11:27:40.414-07:002011-06-27T11:27:40.414-07:00I agree--I hate it when I get the sense that someo...I agree--I hate it when I get the sense that someone is following me JUST because they want me to buy their book--then you can feel used.
